CORRECT Format Example - Excel spreadsheet or Word table

TEAM AWARD NAME
U10 BEST PLAYER ADAM BROWN
U10 COACH'S AWARD CHRIS DAVIES
U11 BEST PLAYER EDDIE FAWN
U11 COACH'S AWARD GRAEME HUGHES

NOTES:

  • Only enter details for one (1) award per row.
  • The first row should be used for HEADINGS only. Use CAPITALS for headings. Headings are not printed on award plates.
  • Use column "cells" for award details. Include as many columns as you need. These details - from the second row onwards are engraved on each award plate.
  • Leave a cell blank where there are no details to be engraved under a certain heading.
  • Please let us know if you want to keep the capitalisation you have used in your list (at times we may choose to change the case of lettering to improve the look of the engraved result).

INCORRECT Format Example

TEAM BEST PLAYER COACH'S AWARD
U10 ADAM BROWN CHRIS DAVIES
U11 EDDIE FAWN GRAEME HUGHES

NOTES:

  • "BEST PLAYER" and "COACH'S AWARD" should NOT be headings. Instead, these details should appear next to a player's name in a column named "AWARD" (for example).
  • There should only be 1 name (recipient) on each row. In the example above there are 2 names on each row. This is incorrect.

Save Time, Reduce Mistakes

Typing lists and details from hand-written, printed, or poorly formatted documents is one of the most time consuming aspects of the engraving process.

This can also create errors and may require you - our valued customer - to return one or more products for correction.

We would rather get it right the first time.

How we've improved the system

Our engravers are able to import long lists into ready-made templates which can be filled and arranged by computer. Processes which once would have taken a lot of time to complete can now take a matter of seconds. The incidences of new errors are eliminated, and the work that you have done to compile your list will not have been in vain because the list that we use is the same list that you sent us.

What We Need from You

To make the process work, we just need your lists to be entered into an MS Excel spreadsheet or an MS Word table.

Use 1 row only for each trophy / engraving. Use columns to specify each trophy's details - as many columns as you need - or leave blank if that column's details do not apply to that trophy. Do not use commas anywhere in your list. Enter details using the capitalization that you want us to use (if it's important).
